I know this is, as ever, seriously sequentially illogical, but I wanted to just put in a brief note about my petit séjour in Manchester during the half-term holidays. I spent the most fantastic week chez Parry-Pycroft-and-Thomas in the delightfully retro Appleby Lodge in Manchester. The week consisted of a whirlwind of concerts, gigs, nights out, take-aways, the Martin Harris Centre, Stowford Press cider, strange Polish plays, the Union, Family Guy, copious cups of tea, and many overdue catch-ups that I had been so hankering after in the past month. Despite being pretty wrecked by the end, it was more than definitely worth it and coming back to Sarlat feels so much better having had a brief respite from la vie en France, seeing Celyn, and realising that although it seems like you’re missing out, things don’t change too drastically while you’re away. Although I didn’t get round to taking many photos at all, here are a few that I did manage to get during the week...
